The free health screening
The free on-site screening offered at the event is an awareness and education service provided by third-party health partners. It is a basic check, not a full medical examination, and it is not a diagnosis. A result that suggests a concern is a reason to see your own provider for proper testing and follow-up. Run 4 Awareness Guam arranges the screening but does not provide medical care and is not responsible for the clinical services delivered by the health partners.
Participating in the run is at your own risk
A run or walk is physical activity. You should be in suitable health to take part, and it is wise to check with your doctor first, especially if you have a health condition. Registration, timing, and the participant waiver are handled by the Guam Running Club on its platform, and the waiver you agree to there governs the risks of participation.
Event details can change
Dates, start times, the route, pricing, sponsors, beneficiaries, and other details are subject to change, and severe weather or other circumstances could affect or cancel the event. We update the site as things are confirmed, but we do not guarantee that every detail is current at all times.
Fundraising and finances
Run 4 Awareness Guam is a community initiative and is not itself a registered nonprofit or 501(c)(3) organization. The 2026 event operates through Reef Pursuit International Inc., which handles event funds. Donations support diabetes awareness, the free health screening, and youth programs as described on the site. We aim to direct funds as described, but we do not guarantee a fixed amount or percentage to any specific program. Reef Pursuit International Inc. is a 501(c)(4), and gifts to a 501(c)(4) are generally not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. For tax questions, consult the receipt from the receiving organization and your own tax advisor.
